Design Narrative

The design challenge is designing a brand identity for Lazy Manatee’s Skin and Face Care, which is a skin and face care company focused on using organic based ingredients and strive to have 10% of all of their sales go to Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park for the protection and rescue of manatees. The second part of the challenge entails creating a visual identity for Lazy Manatee’s Skin and Face Care- this includes designing a 3-piece packaging system.

Target Audience

The target audience are those who want affordable and sustainable skin care products. Ages range between late teens to late thirties. 

Design Solution

By highlighting key ingredients, noting how they were made sustainably and locally, and pointing out various attributes, such as, being Cruelty Free, throughout the packaging will spark newer/younger customers’ attentions’ more. The final outcome is a line of three skin and face care products that are each graphically and colorfully unique from one another.
